LUCENA CITY – A village councilor was shot and killed in a robbery incident in San Andres town in Quezon province early Friday, police said.

A police report said two unidentified armed men forcibly entered the house of Rodini Boot, a kagawad in Barangay (village) Tala around 2 a.m.

When the wife of the victim noticed the intruders, one of them grabbed and covered her mouth, pointed the gun in her head and asked for money.
