Trillanes blasts Malacañang’s latest matrix: Duterte’s acts discredit gov’t
MANILA, Philippines — Senator Antonio Trillanes IV has slammed the latest matrices produced by Malacañang that tagged the Liberal Party, Magdalo group, and some media companies as alleged hatchers of a plot to unseat President Rodrigo Duterte.
Trillanes, who is considered the fiercest critic of Duterte, even threw shade at the Chief Executive for his statements and actions that, as the senator suggested, instead discredit the government.

“Si Duterte ang nagpapatay ng libu-libong Pilipino, may bilyun-bilyong pisong tagong yaman, gumigiba sa mga democractic institutions, minumura ang Diyos, at nag-iimbento ng mga akusasyon sa mga kritiko niya, tapos kami ang nagdi-discredit [sa government]?” the senator said in a statement.
(Duterte ordered the killing of thousands of Filipinos, has multi-billion pesos worth of hidden wealth, destroys democratic institutions, curses God, and invents accusations against his critics, and now we are the ones discrediting [the government]?)

In a press briefing with Palace reporters, Panelo said Duterte has received intelligence information “that has been validated” and “appears to show that there is a deliberate attempt to discredit this administration.”
“It appears,” he said, “that there are certain groups who are working together to achieve this goal.” /kga
