Man found dead in QC

MANILA, Philippines — A man was found dead in Quezon City early Monday, police said.

Senior Police Officer 2 Mario Toreano of the Quezon City Police District, said the man, who was believed to be a scavenger, was found in a vacant lot near the Commission on Human Rights Office around 7:30 a.m.

Toreano said that the victim’s fellow scavenger reported the incident to the police.

No other information is available as of posting time but police and Scene of the Crime Operatives are now conducting an investigation in the area.
