5 suspected shabu peddlers fall in Lucena buy-bust

LUCENA CITY – Police arrested five suspected drug pushers in two separate buy-bust operations in Lucena City on Wednesday, police said.

Anti-illegal drugs operatives collared Arnel Pontiveros and his partner Ma. Ruffa Coladillay in Barangay (village) Cotta around 3:20 p.m.

Police tagged Pontiveros, a drug surrenderer, and Coladillay, an ex-convict on drug charges, as notorious drug peddlers in the village.

Earlier, authorities also busted Genneric Presas, Wency Bryan Gunday and Chino Alpuerto in Barangay Ibabang Dupay around 10:45 a.m.

Police seized from the five suspects 13 sachets of “shabu” (crystal meth) weighing a total 7.71 grams worth P34,695 in the street market. Delfin T. Mallari Jr. /lzb
