894 pass February 2019 OT and PT licensure exams
MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Thursday that 894 examinees passed the February 2019 Physical Therapist (PT) and Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure examinations.
A total of 772 out of 1,287 examinees passed the Physical Therapist exams while 122 out of 211 passed the Occupational Therapist exams.
The University of the Philippines-Manila (UP Manila) is the top performing school in both PT and OT board exams, according to the PRC.
The school posted a 97.06 percent passing-rate in the PT board exams and 100 percent passing rate in the OT board exams.
Meanwhile, Gea Gabrielle Rosales from Siliman University topped the PT exam with a rating of 86.60 percent. Nicole Kyla Delfin from UP Manila topped the OT exam, with a rating of 83.80 percent.
The PRC released the board exam results two working days after the last day of the licensure examinations. /ee
