3 inmates maul fellow detainee to death in Parañaque

MANILA, Philippines — A detainee at the Parañaque City Police Station was mauled to death by three fellow inmates on Sunday.

A report from Southern Police District (SPD) identified the victim as Benjie Baltazar, 23.

The suspects, meanwhile, were identified as Richard Baylon, 39; Andrew Barba, 40; and Belmar Borja, 25.

The incident was reported to a duty jailer who rushed Baltazar to the Ospital ng Parañaque where the victim was declared dead on arrival at 10:07 p.m. /cbb
