Man shot in front of fast food restaurant in Quezon City

MANILA, Philippines — A man was shot in front of a fast food restaurant located at the corner of Kalayaan Avenue and Kamias Street in Diliman, Quezon City, on Friday afternoon.

Investigators have yet to cull information about the incident, as of this posting, but Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director Chief Supt. Joselito Esquivel said the victim – clad in a gray sweatshirt and black pants – was rushed to East Avenue Medical Center.

But a photo sent to INQUIRER.net showed the still unidentified victim on the pavement with a bullet wound on his upper back.

Authorities from QCPD Station 10 in Kamuning said police officers are in the area to gather information and process the crime scene. /kga
