Bomb hoax strikes Pangasinan hospital

/ 02:35 PM January 04, 2019

DAGUPAN CITY — A hospital became the victim of a bomb hoax on Thursday night (Jan. 3).

At 10:50 p.m., Dr. Jesus Roderick Tuazon, director of the Medical City, was warned over his online messenger app that an explosive device had been planted in the facility.

Explosives units from the Pangasinan and Dagupan police offices quickly conducted a search but found no evidence of a bomb. Investigators are tracking down the source of the threat.

Last year, bomb scares also victimized the Luzon University and the Pangasinan National High School. YOLANDA SOTELO
