3 bodies found in Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro

MANILA, Philippines — Police found three bodies near a bridge in Barangay Burgos, Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro last Friday.

According to the Police Regional Office 4-B, authorities received a call from barangay officials reporting the unidentified cadavers, who were all lying in prone position near a river.

The victims were found blindfolded, their faces covered, and their hands and feet tied by packing tapes and garbage bags.

One of the victims was a light-skinned, medium-built man wearing a white shirt and maong shorts.  The two others were fair-skinned and medium-built mean, with one wearing a red shirt and maong pants, and the other wearing a grey sando and maong shorts.

Sablayan police has asked assistance from the Sablayan Municipal Health Officer and the Field Laboratory Work from the Scene of Crime Operatives (SOCO) in examining and identifying the bodies. /je
