3.9-magnitude earthquake hits Occidental Mindoro
MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 3.9 earthquake struck Occidental Mindoro on Tuesday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
In its initial report, Phivolcs said the earthquake was located 12 kilometers (km) west of Looc, Occidental Mindoro at 3:03 p.m.
The earthquake, which had tectonic as its origin, had a depth of 10 km.
Phivolcs said no aftershocks and damage could be expected from the earthquake.
