Carjackers strike anew in QC

MANILA, Philippines – Carjackers struck anew in Quezon City on Monday, stealing a brand new Mitsubishi Montero in Ramon Magsaysay village, a 990AM report said.

Sales manager Edison de Guzman, 33, was about to park his SUV in front of his home along Ilocos Street when two armed men attacked him.

The report said that one of the suspects hit De Guzman on the head with a gun before stealing the vehicle.

Quezon City Police District’s Anti-Carnapping unit (QCPD-Ancar) were conducting follow-up operations to catch the suspects, the report added.
