Cebu Pacific announces domestic flight cancellations

Some domestic flights have been canceled because of the damage caused by Typhoon “Rosita.”

In its advisory on Wednesday, Cebu Pacific said that operations at the Cauayan Airport were suspended due to damages brought about by the typhoon.

As a result, the following Cebu Pacific flights were canceled until November 3:

Resumption of flights to and from Cauayan for November 4, 2018 onwards will be announced by 12 noon on November 3 (Saturday), the company added.

Meanwhile, as unfavorable weather is still expected in Basco, the following CebGo flights are canceled on Thursday (November 1):

Recovery flights to and from Basco will be mounted on November 2 and 3.

The airline also advised affected passengers not to proceed to the airport, but instead avail themselves of any of the following options, without penalties:

-Rebook their flights for travel within 30 days from original departure date;

-Place the cost of the ticket in a Travel Fund for future use;

-Get a full refund

“Passengers who booked their flights via a travel agency or any other third party are strongly encouraged to provide their own contact details so the airline can reach them directly for any updates,” the airline added.
