2 robbery suspects shot dead in Pasay

Two armed robbers were shot dead after they exchanged fire with authorities in Pasay on Saturday.

According to the report of the Pasay City Police Station (CPS), a robbery-holdup transpired in Cinco de Junio St., corner Arnaiz St., Pasay where a certain Mika was held at gunpoint by two robbers on board a black motorcycle without a plate number.

The suspects took her two cellular phones and cash amounting to more or less P1,000.

After the incident, the suspects fled away towards EDSA, authorities said.

Immediately thereafter, the victim sought police assistance from one of the personnel of Pasay CPS.

According to police, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) led by PSI Maynard Pascual and Special Investigation Station (SIS) led by PSI Manuel Taytayon responded to the crime scene.

Acting on the report, they immediately followed the suspects which eventually led to an encounter at C5 Extension, Brgy 201, Pasay where the suspects were shot dead during the exchange of fire. /je
