Miaa cancels Masbate flights due to bad weather

Flights to and from Masbate were canceled on Saturday due to prevailing inclement weather, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) said.

In an advisory, the Miaa said that as of 4 p.m. the following flights were called off:

CebGo

  • DG 6179 Manila – Masbate
  • DG 6180 Masbate – Manila

In a weather forecast by the state weather bureau, it said that the Visayas region would experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds coming from the northeast and north sections of the country will bring slight to moderate sea condition over Visayas, it added. /jpv
