Technical problem interrupts LRT-2 service
A technical problem prompted the Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) to implement a provisional train service on Monday afternoon.
In an advisory posted on its official Twitter page, the LRT-2 management said that train service was only available from Santolan to V. Mapa station and vice versa starting at 3:12 p.m.
ADVISORY: Due to technical problem, LRT-2 is in provisional service as of 3:12 p.m. Train service is available only from Santolan to V. Mapa and vice versa. Our apologies.

The management said the engineering and maintenance team immediately worked to resume the LRT-2 operations.
As of 3:30 p.m., the LRT-2 has resumed to its full service operations as the service from Santolan to Recto stations resumed.
ADVISORY: Starting 3:30 p.m., LRT-2 has been back to full service operations. Train service from Santolan to Recto and vice versa has then resumed. Thank you. Have a safe trip!
