Drug suspect killed in Cavite
SAN PEDRO CITY – An illegal drug suspect was killed in a buy-bust operation in General Trias City in Cavite province on Tuesday afternoon.
Supt. Chitadel Gaoiran, Calabarzon police spokesperson, said the suspect Alyazzriff Sahibuddin, alias “Al Payat,” was the target of the buy-bust operation around 12:30 p.m. in Barangay San Francisco.
She said Sahibuddin suddenly opened fire forcing the law enforcers to shoot back. The suspect died on the way to the General Trias Doctors Hospital.
Another drug suspect identified as Jessie Salvador was killed in a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Antonio in San Pedro City, on Monday afternoon.
Gaoiran said Salvador sold a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) to undercover policemen when the suspect suddenly engaged law enforcers in a gunfight.
Both Sahibuddin and Salvador were included in the police’s watchlist for illegal drugs in their respective cities.
