Classes at the Universidad de Manila (UDM) in Ermita on Saturday afternoon were disrupted by a bomb threat, a report from Radyo Inquirer said.

According to the Manila Police District, the bomb threat was sent through a text message that was received by an instructor at 11:45 a.m.

UDM Vice Chancellor Ronald Herrera said a police inspection of the campus found no explosives.

Police said classes and work in the university later resumed after the security check was completed.  /muf
