FILIPINO Lee Vann Corteza remains the favorite over Taiwanese ace Yang Ching Shun in their Philippine Bigtime Billiards (PBB) Face Off Series match on Saturday at the Pagcor Airport Casino in Parañaque City.
Sports betting at MegaSportsWorld favored Corteza against Yang as of yesterday.
A $1 bet on Corteza would win $1.70. A $1 bet on Yang would win $2.05 in this race-to-9, 10-ball affair, winner’s break format event, jointly organized by the Mega Sports World and BRKHRD Corp.
The foreign cue masters are leading 3-1 against the local pool wizards in the PBB Face Off Series. German’s Ralf “Kaiser” Souquet bested World 8-ball champion Dennis “Robocop” Orcollo and Carlo “The Black Tiger” Biado in the previous PBB Face Off series.
Britain’s Daryl “The Dazzler” Peach pulled off an amazing come-from-behind 9-7 victory over former double world champion Ronato “Volcano” Alcano to win the PBB Face Off Series dubbed as The Dazzler and The Volcano last Nov. 19.
