DID YOU KNOW: Cornerstone of Santa Ana church laid in 1720

The cornerstone of the church of Santa Ana, Manila was laid by Francisco de la Cuesta on Sept. 12, 1720.

De la Cuesta was the Archbishop of Manila and acting governor of the Philippines at that time.

The church was built under the supervision of Vicente Ingles, OFM.
