6.0 magnitude quake hits Pangasinan—Phivolcs

MANILA, Philippines—A 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck off Zambales at 8:27 a.m. Wednesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.

There was no immediate report of damage or injuries from the quake that was felt at Intensity III  in Iba, Zambales and Marikina City.

The epicenter of the offshore earthquake was located 140 kilometers west of Agno in Pangasinan,  Phivolcs Director Renato Solidum told Radyo Inquirer 990AM.

It was felt at Intensity II in Quezon City, Manila, Mandaluyong City, Makati City, Ortigas (Pasig), Obando (Bulacan),  Urdaneta City (Pangasinan) and  Baguio City. Intensity I was felt in San Manuel, Pangasinan.
