/ 10:48 PM November 29, 2011

The Parañaque City government will implement the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP) in roads near the Bicutan interchange to address the huge volume of vehicles passing through the area, resulting in heavy traffic.

In a statement, the city government said the imposition of the program, more popularly known as the number coding scheme, was covered by a city ordinance, which will take effect Thursday.

Aside from the number coding scheme, the local government will also implement a truck ban on roads leading to the Bicutan interchange as well.
