13 hurt as bomb explodes in Sultan Kudarat

At least 13 people were injured after an improvised explosive device went off in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat on Tuesday evening, the military said.

Full details were not immediately available but the Army’s 6th Infantry Division Brig. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana said a town gathering was being held at the area of explosion when the bomb was set off.

“Medyo kontrolado na yung area, cordoned na. Nabigyan na rin ang lunas ang injured (The area is already cordoned off. The injured were treated),” he said.

A separate post from the Philippine Red Cross on Twitter said the incident happened between E&M Hardware and Holy Nazarene Hospital at around 8:35 p.m. /ee
