Duterte: I am tired of listening to ‘degenerative’ Sison

President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday dismissed the challenge of exiled communist leader Jose Maria Sison to make public their latest medical records.

I am tired of listening to [Jose] Maria Sison,” Duterte told reporters in an ambush interview at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig City.

Duterte’s statement is the latest in the word war between the two leaders after Sison alleged that the President went into a state of coma.

Over the weekend, the 79-year-old Sison dared Duterte to release his medical records following questions about his health condition.

“If he will show this clearly with a certification from Philippine General Hospital doctors, I will make public my own medical certification from the hospital despite my right to privacy as a private citizen,” Sison said.

The President slammed Sison, saying he no longer has an ideology.

“Look at how degenerative he is. Wala na siyang ideology. Sige na lang ang bantay niya sa sakit ng tao,” he said. /cbb
