Cebu Pacific announces normal operations after delays
Operations of Cebu Pacific airline have normalized after four days of flight cancelations following a mishap where a Xiamen Air flight skidded off the runway at the Manila International Airport.
Management said that, as of Tuesday, local and international flights of Cebu Pacifc were back to normal.
“Barring any other technical, weather-related or other extraordinary circumstances, we do not plan to cancel flights,” Cebu Pacific said in an advisory.
“Nonetheless, passengers on all domestic and international flights flying out of the NAIA Terminal 3 from August 17 until today (August 21, 2018) may still opt to rebook their flights for travel within 30 days,” it added.
Cebu Pacific then apologized for the inconvenience of the cancelations may have caused to its passengers.
Article continues after this advertisementThe management also thanked airport agencies for the assistance given to the airline during the four-day incident that happened at Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

We also thank the domestic airports for their cooperation and assistance during instances when we had to divert flights,” Cebu Pacific said.
On Thursday night, Xiamen Air Flight MF8667 skidded off the runway that led to hundreds of flight cancelations.
Che Shanglun, chairman of Xiamen Airlines, issued on Monday a public apology and vowed to offer assistance to affected passengers. /cbb
