Man shoots friend in Sudlon

A 23-YEAR-OLD man was shot  by his friend last Sunday night in barangay Sudlon 2, Cebu City.

Joey Mondin, who   was shot  in the face, was  rushed to a private hospital in Cebu City.

Police said Mondin was having a drinking spree with his friends outside his home.

He went inside to cook noodles when one of his friends, Jorick Gacayan, followed him.

In the kitchen,   Gacayan  said in Cebuano, “I have something for you,” and pointed a gun at his head.

The victim tried to move away.  He was hit in the face. He fought back, kicking the punching his assailant.

The victim’s brother, Jonathan, arrived and disarmed Gacasan.

Gacasan is now under police custody pending the filing of charges against him.
