Bacolod cops confiscate P1.4-M worth of ‘shabu’; 2 men nabbed

Operatives have impounded some P1.4 million worth of alleged shabu and arrested two suspects in a buy-bust operation in Bacolod City, police said Wednesday.

Based on a regional police report, suspects Faisalin Ibra Catampuhan, 21, and Norhan Caunda Ito, 42, both of Marawi City, were arrested around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in Purok Ube, Barangay 4.

Police said the suspects yielded five medium-sized sachets and a large pack of suspected shabu estimated to weigh 120 grams; P2,000 marked money; and a sock. Police also recovered the suspects’ alleged car, which has no license plate number.

Catampuhan and Ito are now detained at a Bacolod City Police Station. /kga
