A police officer from Valenzuela City was found sleeping on duty after another round of random inspections conducted by the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) on Sunday.

According to a report from NCRPO, the Police Officer 1 from the Marulas Police Station – Police Community Precinct 3 was found sleeping while on duty during the inspections led by NCRPO Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar himself.

However, Eleazar was happy with the result of the inspections, saying that police now have a “higher level of discipline” as shown in the changes in their approach for the night shift.

Eleazar’s inspections on Sunday covered different police stations in Caloocan, Novaliches and San Juan, and the community precinct in Marulas, Valenzuela. — Kristine Macasiray/INQUIRER.net Intern /ee
