2 nabbed in Valenzuela buy-bust

Two suspected drug pushers were arrested by the Valenzuela City Police in a buy-bust operation on Tuesday night near the Marulas Public Market on Guansing Street, Barangay Marulas, Valenzuela City.

According to a report from the Northern Police District (NPD), agents of the Valenzuela police’s Special Drug Enforcement Unit seized eight sachets of suspected shabu from Ramyond Sangil, 27, and Niño Dela Cruz, 25, both residents of the said barangay.

The NPD said that aside from the suspected shabu, also seized from the suspects were the three marked P100 bills used in the sting, two other P100 bills, and a coin purse.

Sangil and Dela Cruz, along with the pieces of evidence, were turned over to the Philippine National Police Crime Laboratory Office in Camp Crame for drug testing and laboratory examination.

Meanwhile, charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied against the two arrested suspects.   /muf
