‘Ester’ morphs into storm in exit from PH

/ 07:09 AM June 17, 2018

Tropical Depression “Ester” (international name: Gaemi) morphed into a tropical storm as it left the Philippine area of responsibility, but improved weather (meaning hot) was likely to prevail, according to the weather bureau.

Ester, however, would continue to bring rains to western sections of Luzon, said weather specialist Samuel Duran.

Zambales, Bataan and Pangasinan provinces were expected to have light to heavy rains while the rest of the country would be hot. —Melvin Gascon
