State weather bureau warned Monday of light to moderate with occasional heavy rains in Metro Manila and other provinces in Luzon.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) issued heavy rainfall warning in Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Rizal and Laguna.

Moderate to occasionally heavy rains are being experienced over Cagayan while the provinces of Abra, Apayao, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kalinga, Ifugao, MountainProvince and Isabela may experience light to moderate rains.
Residents in the said provinces were warned of possible flooding and landslides due to moderate to occasional heavy rains.
Pagasa said southwest monsoon is still affecting parts of Luzon and Western Visayas.
Western Visayas and the rest of Luzon can expect cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorm.
Meanwhile, Mindanao and the rest Visayas will experience partly to cloudy skies with localized thunderstorms.
Severe Tropical Storm Domeng (international name Maliksi) was last located 2,370 kilometers northeast of Basco, Batanes, outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
Heavy rains prompted the cancellation of classes in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
Flights going in and out of Batanes were also cancelled. /vvp
