Kalayaan Festival
The culmination of the celebration of the Philippine Independence Day in Cavite province, dubbed as the “Historical Capital of the Philippines.” Started in 2005, the festivities include a float parade, street dancing, trade fair and beauty pageant.

Agdahanay Festival
The town of Cuartero in Capiz province celebrates its 146th town fiesta in honor of its patron saint, San Antonio de Padua. The Capiznon word “Agdahanay” means inviting and accommodating others. Events include cultural activities and street dancing.

Araw ng Cotabato
Residents of Cotabato City celebrate the 59th Araw ng Cotabato with weeklong festivities. One of the event’s highlights is the “inaul” fabric exhibit, which features textiles and tapestries depicting the city’s history. Inaul is a traditional Maguindanao cloth. Other activities include a boat race, cooking showdown and cultural presentations.
