Cops seize P4-M shabu in Angeles City buy-bust

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga—A kilogram of suspected shabu (crystal meth), valued at P4 million and packed in a plastic bag bearing the Chinese markings, was seized from a man in Angeles City during a buy-bust operation on Thursday (June 7), a belated police report said on Friday.
Suspect Jay-Ann Salonga, 27, was caught with the illegal substance during a drug operation in Barangay (village) Cutud, said Chief Supt. Rommel Batangan, chief of the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit in Central Luzon, on Friday.
The policemen also seized another five sachets containing suspected shabu, a gun, bullets, three mobile telephones, a weighing scale, a pair of scissors and P1,500 worth of marked money.
A vehicle that the suspect used in alleged peddling of shabu was confiscated. /jpv
