DID YOU KNOW: Sea Month is observed every June

By virtue of Proclamation No. 1512 signed on May 13, 2008 by then President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Celebrate the Sea Month is observed every June while Celebrate the Sea Day is marked on the second Saturday of the month. The Department of Tourism, together with the Philippine Commission on the Development of Sports Scuba Diving, is tasked to spearhead the celebration. — Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
