Establishment robbed

A remittance and courier service center located inside a mall on Quirino Highway in Fairview, Quezon City, was robbed by two men who posed as employees on Wednesday night. The heist took place just a few minutes before the center closed for the day with the robbers using kitchen knives which the police said were probably bought from the mall. The robbers targeted the LBC branch on the ground floor of Robinsons mall and made off with an undetermined amount of money taken from the vault. Supt. Froilan Uy, Quezon City Police District Station 5 commander, said the two men were wearing LBC uniforms and had introduced themselves as auditors sent to inspect the vault’s contents. Nancy C.
