DID YOU KNOW: FDCP was created in 2002

The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), under the Office of the President, was created by virtue of Republic Act 9167 signed on June 7, 2002.

The FDCP, which holds office on T.M. Kalaw Street in Ermita, Manila, is tasked with ensuring that the economic, cultural and educational aspects of film are represented at home and abroad. —Marielle Medina
