2 drug suspects killed, 11 nabbed in Cavite, Laguna
SAN PEDRO CITY – Two suspected drug pushers were killed, while 11 others were arrested in Cavite and Laguna provinces early morning Tuesday, police said.
A report from the Cavite police office identified the slain men as alias “Lorick” and alias “Romiel.” According to the report, the incident happened around 3 a.m., when the police conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay Niog 3 in Bacoor City.
After the transaction, the suspects rode their motorcycle in an attempt to escape as they must have realized they were dealing with law enforcers, he said.
The police chased them towards Bacoor Boulevard where the suspects alighted and ran away while shooting at the policemen, the police claimed.
The police shot back and hit the suspects, who were declared dead on arrival at the St. Dominic Medical Center in Bacoor.
Recovered from them were two guns of calibers .38 and .22 and a coin purse that contained 10 sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth).

Recovered from the suspects were 30 sachets of suspected shabu worth P780,000 and cash amounting to P10,000.
In Laguna province, a simultaneous implementation of search warrants on Tuesday morning resulted in the arrest of eight suspects and the recovery of 32 sachets of suspected drugs in Barangay II-A, San Pablo City.
The police were armed with a warrant issued by Judge Agripino Morga of the Regional Trial Court Branches 29 to 32 in San Pablo.
