Tiger Resort wants DOJ to probe leak of resolution vs Okada

A Japanese gaming firm is asking the Department of Justice (DOJ) to take over the investigation on the leakage of a resolution regarding its complaint against tycoon Kazuo Okada.

In its manifestation and motion, Tiger Resorts Leisure & Entertainment Inc. (TRLEI) said the DOJ, not a panel from the Parañaque Prosecutors Office should handle the investigation.

Paranaque City Prosecutor Amerhassan Paudac formed a panel to probe the posting of the resolution on social media.

TRLEI said the Parañaque Prosecutors Office should not be allowed to conduct the probe because the case was originally in their jurisdiction when the confidential document was disclosed to the public.
