Alleged pusher killed in Novaliches buy-bust

A suspected drug pusher was killed on Friday night following a buy-bust in Novaliches, Quezon City by the Navotas Police Station’s Special Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU).

In a report from Quezon City Police Department (QCPD) Director Chief Supt. Joselito Esquivel Jr., the slain suspect was identified as an alias “Doo.”

According to the report, the suspect was between 40 to 45 years of age, of medium built and wore black jersey shorts and a dark blue shirt.

Initial investigation said the suspect sensed that he was transacting with undercover police officers during the bust and opened fire.

The police officers, the report said, returned fire, immediately killing the suspect.

Recovered from the suspect was a caliber .38 pistol, four plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia and the marked cash used in the sting. /muf
