Delinquent SSS members can apply for loan restructuring

Members of the Social Security System (SSS), particularly overseas Filipino workers, who have delinquent loans can now apply for loan restructuring with penalty condonation.

The SSS now allows members’ authorized representatives to simply present printed copies of e-mailed letter of authority (LOA).

The state-run fund announced on Thursday that all its branches nationwide would accept LOA printouts.

Emmanuel F. Dooc, SSS president and chief executive, said authorized representatives should submit photocopies of two valid identification cards, as well as a scanned copy of two valid IDs of the member.—RONNEL W. DOMINGO
