5 nabbed, P800,000 worth of shabu seized from Bataan house

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Shabu (crystal meth) valued at P800,000 were seized on Wednesday (May 30) during a court-approved search of a house in a resort at Dinalupihan town in Bataan province, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency said on Thursday (May 31).

PDEA search teams also discovered 15 grams of marijuana along with 28 sachets of suspected shabu from five suspects at a house on No. 17 Rizal St. in Barangay (village) Rizal, said PDEA regional director Gil Pabilona.

The leader of the group, identified as Ferdinand Mallari, was arrested together with Audie-Mar Simsuangco, Eduardo Pecson, Elmer Angeles and Kristine Mallari. The suspects reportedly operate a drug den.
