Fire hits home in Valenzuela; no one hurt

MANILA, Philippines — A pre-dawn fire of still unknown origin razed a house in Valenzuela City but no one was hurt in the incident, Fire Officer 1 John Noel Sentillas said Thursday.

Sentillas said the fire in #5 Sacred Heart Compound, West Canumay started around 12:54 a.m. and reached second alarm before it was put out at 3:41 a.m.

Investigation is underway to determine the cause of fire and the cost of damage, Sentillas said.
