Metro Manila, nearby provinces to have heavy rains due to thunderstorms

The public should take precautionary measures as thunderstorms hit Metro Manila and nearby provinces Wednesday afternoon.

Heavy rains with lightning and strong winds due to thunderstorms are expected over Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac and Pampanga, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in an advisory at 2:18 p.m.

The same weather condition is being experienced in Metro Manila (Quezon City, Camanava, Pasig, Marikina, Mandaluyong), Bulacan, Cavite, Rizal, Zambales, Laguna, Batangas, and Quezon which may persist within 2 hours. /je
