OCD, NDRRMC to hold nationwide earthquake drill

To prepare for possible earthquakes, the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) and the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) will hold a Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on June 21.

The June drill is the second for this year, with the other drill conducted on February 15, according to the OCD.

“Sa ganap na alas-dos ng hapon, sabay-sabay tayong mag-Duck, Cover, and Hold para sa 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill,” the OCD said in a post on its Twitter account on Tuesday.
