Duterte certifies as urgent P1.161-B budget for Dengvaxia patients
President Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday certified as urgent a House Bill No. 7449, which seeks to allot a supplemental budget of P1.161 billion for the medical assistance of around 900,000 children vaccinated with the controversial Dengvaxia.
House Majority Leader Rodolfo Fariñas gave a copy of the certification to reporters late Tuesday night.
The House appropriations committee approved bill on Tuesday.

The bill seeks to appropriate a total of P1,161,710,000 to assist the Dengvaxia vaccinees.
The bill was amended so that the budget could be used until the fund is fully utilized. /atm
