Sotto former chief of staff named new Senate Secretary

Senate President Vicente “ Tito” Sotto III’s former chief of staff,  Myra Villarica, will be the new Senate Secretary.

Sotto revealed this on Tuesday as he confirmed the resignation of outgoing Senate Secretary Lutgardo Barbo.

“He (Barbo) told me yesterday he will resign,” the Senate leader said in a viber message.

Sotto said Barbo would be replaced by Villarica.  /muf
