SAN PEDRO CITY – Two persons died in separate motorcycle accidents in Batangas late Monday evening and early Tuesday, police said.
The first accident happened In Lipa City along the J.P. Laurel highway in Barangay Balintawak around 1:40 a.m. on Tuesday.
A report from the Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) police headquarters, said Reymar Geguinto was driving his motorcycle with passenger Al Niño Peña when he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed. Onlookers rushed the victims to a nearby hospital but Geguinto died on the way.
Meanwhile, the second accident happened in Bauan town at around 11 p.m. late Monday in Barangay San Roque.
According to initial police investigation, Marco Banagan, was drunk when he crashed his motorcycle.
Banagan was rushed to the Bauan Doctors General Hospital but was declared dead on arrival. /muf
