Rain likely in Mindanao, fair weather in most parts of PH – Pagasa

Most parts of the country will have fair weather except for occasional rain in Mindanao, the state weather bureau said on Monday.

The easterlies continue to be the dominant weather system in the country, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) also said.

But, according to the state weather agency, Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rain due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ).

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain, Pagasa added.            /kga
