The Eastern Police District (EPD) has apprehended its 10th most wanted person, who has been a known robber victimizing students and call center agents in the area.
EPD reports showed that members of its Special Operations Unit (SOU) arrested Sunbert Manansala, 25, of Ampalaya Street, Barangay Tumana, Marikina, while he was waiting for a victim in front of a supermarket in Barangay San Jose in Rodriguez, Rizal.
According to the EPD, the notorious suspect has victimized several students, call center agents, and workers in the wee hours of the night. It also said that Manansala has been convicted for a previous robbery case in January 2016.
Manansala was 10th in the EPD’s list of most wanted personalities, authorities noted.
The EPD further said the SOU members arrested Manansala, acting on a warrant of arrest issued by the Marikina Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 263 against the suspect for robbery. /kga
