The camp of Sister Patricia Fox will appeal the Bureau of Immigration’s (BI) leave order issued against her and the revocation of her missionary visa before the Department of Justice (DOJ).
Lawyer Jobert Pahilga, counsel of the 71-year-old Australian nun, said they would file an appeal with the DOJ this week.
“We will challenge the order. We will file an appeal at the Department of Justice,” Pahilga said in a phone interview.

“We have already expected that the BI will deny our motion for reconsideration. That’s why as early as (two) weeks ago, we have already prepared an appeal,” her lawyer said.
The BI, an attached agency of the DOJ, ordered the Australian missionary to leave on or before May 25, Friday, after her missionary visa was canceled for her alleged participation in partisan political activities. /ee
