Fair weather prevails in PH due to easterlies – Pagasa

The easterlies or warm winds blowing from the east will bring fair weather across the country this Tuesday, the state weather bureau said.

Metro Manila and the whole country would likely experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

The state weather agency explained that easterlies are the dominant weather system during dry season.

Meanwhile, Pagasa said the hottest temperature in Metro Manila was recorded at 34.9 degrees Celsius around 1:50 p.m. Monday. /kga
